On Thursday afternoon after a crazy 24 hours, my friend Ludvig and I ran an incredible 11.5km (7+m) around the Mcketchee (sp) reservoir in Singapore. I had landed in Singapore about 2am after delayed connection in Hong Kong, up at 7am and time spent in the gym working on weights. After a series of customer and partner meetings during the day, our flight to Bangkok was not until 740pm so I met up with Ludvig at his suggestion for a run before my flight and before he flew to Beijing that night to get ready for his move the following week. As soon as we got out of the cab at the park, we were met by some local monkeys who wanted food, to which we had none. After changing at a local restroom we had a fantastic run around the lake on paths, wooden piers, paths and roads and I was sweating massively after just a little while due to 90f heat and 190% humidity. After a semi shower, I put my suit back on and raced to the airport to catch a flight to Bangkok, still sweating long afterwards. We saw a number of monkeys a along the way including with babies and they looked at us running like we were crazy, which we were!
